Happy summer! It’s hot, the perfect time for all of us to sit someplace cool and read some new Science Fiction and Fantasy short stories. The Summer, 2011 issue of 4 Star Stories is now online with new stories for you plus some great art by our guest artist, Brad Foster. Enjoy!

In the first two issues of 4 Star Stories we have been lucky enough to give you readers some really good stories by some excellent authors and the work of two outstanding artists. {Thank you everybody. Take a bow, you deserve it.)

We are proud and happy that we could work with these fine writers and artists. But it has always been our intention for
4 Star Stories to be a venue where all Science Fiction and Fantasy writers, both beginners and professionals, could send their stories for consideration for publication.

Now, we are moving towards that goal.

Starting with issue three of 4 Star Stories, the Fall, 2011 issue, we are open for submissions. If you are a serious writer and you have a story you think meets our criteria, send it along to us. We would like to read it.

At 4 Star Stories, we are looking for well-written, original Science Fiction and Fantasy short stories, preferably with an upbeat, positive attitude.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Oh, and writers, remember to self-edit and spell check every story before you send it to us, or to anyone else. These actions make editors happy, and a happy editor is more likely to publish your story.
